ECOLOGY
Ecosystem
Name of Research: Observation of a Forest Ecosystem (Animal).
Theory:
Ecology: The branch of
Biology that deals with any living organism and its organic and inorganic
components is called ecology.
Ecosystem: The
system formed by the exchange of various elements of the environment with the
organisms of a particular place is called an Ecosystem.
Introduction:
An Ecosystem is home to different organisms and different
types of animals. So, the quality, density, behavior, physiochemical elements
and presence of plants rely on bio diversities. Therefore, by observing the
state of the ecosystem, the adaptation of the animals at that place, the wide
range of number etc. is known.
Place of Research: The Hilly regions and adjacent places around the Zoology
Department of M.C College, Sylhet.
Temperatures: 37°C
Species: 1.
Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensi). 2.
Butterfly (Rhopalocera).
3.
Snail (Pila globosa). 4.
Chameleon (Calotes).
Necessary Materials:
1. Binocular. 2. Spade. 3. Insects Net. 4. Ribbon. 5. Tray. 6.
Thermometer.
7. Forceps Net. 8. Books.
Procedure: Under the supervision of the departmental teacher with the
necessary
materials, went to the observation site. During
research, observed the animals in the
observation area well and learned all the
roles in their adaptation.
My observed animals and
species content respectively;
